Following the Facebook message I signed with my name this morning captioned “PDP – Plunderers and Destroyers of Polity”, I have been inundated with enquiries from far and near. It has therefore become necessary for me to make clarification as follows:

1.) The message represents my personal opinion and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Save Nigeria Group’s (SNG) leaders and members.

2.) SNG has NOT made any official or unofficial announcements supporting a particular candidate for next year's Presidential elections.

3.) I did not say in any part of the message that it reflects the views of SNG’s leaders and members.

4) The message is not meant as an innuendo that SNG has made any official or unofficial announcement supporting a particular candidate for next year’s Presidential elections. At the appropriate time SNG will through its official fan page, amongst other media as it considers appropriate, make official pronouncement regarding endorsement of candidates for the 2011 polls.

Robust debates and divergent opinions are essential ingredients of democracy and I will continue to contribute my quota in all fora aimed at engendering credible elections and true democracy in our great dear mother land.
